As you now know, the Bizarre Bazzar was held last week, it was the first summer one and we had a wonderful time there.  For those who managed to get to Karura Forest, where the event was held, you probably saw our tent with the bags immaculately arranged, what you didn’t see was the work that went into that.  here is what we did;

Friday consisted of a couple of trips from the office at Lenana Forest Centre to Karura Forest carrying the wooden display stands on our trusty Toyota pickup, then the last trip with the  Jeep in tow we carried the bags that would be sold there.  After unloading the bags the job of stuffing the for display is what we kicked off on, we closed for the night at around 8 pm.

Early following day, Saturday,  was the final touches, dusting the bags, ensuring the tent was spick and span and at 0930 hrs people started trickling in to buy.  We had a great day interacting with our customers and other stallholders at the event.  Saturday was also the day we introduced our Shuka collection of bags, I will be writing more about this soon but here is a sneak peak at some of the products.

Sunday was a continuation of Saturday’s work, though the rains started pounding in the afternoon leading to many getting stuck in the mud, all in all we had a great time and we look forward to seeing you again at the next Bizarre Bazzar in December.
