Located in the North of Kenya between the Meru and Mount Kenya National Parks , Lewa is an integral link between the Laikipia and Samburu ecosystems. It is a non profit organisation that relies heavily on donor support. “The Lewa Wildlife Conservancy works as a catalyst for the conservation of wildlife and its habitat. It does this through the protection and management of species, the initiation and support of community conservation and development programmes, and the education of neighbouring areas in the value of wildlife.” As a Kenya based manufacturing enterprise Sandstorm takes a keen interest in supporting the local communities and ecosystems that make it a special place.
